The UK Government has introduced new travel requirements. Most visitors travelling to Northern Ireland will need an approved ETA or eVISA. What you need depends on your nationality and why you're travelling to the UK.

Dublin ↔ Pittsburgh
During a meeting in January attended by the Irish Centre, new airplane purchases were discussed that will allow direct flights from Pittsburgh to Dublin. On May 25, 2026. Aer Lingus begins Direct flights from Pittsburgh to Dublin four times a week, connecting you to over 70 European destinations.

2026 Spring Preservation Project
The Troops 2026 Planting Project began in early March. The scouts are learning about sustainable environmental practices while improving the grounds of St. Theresa of Kolkata Parish. This project is possible through a government Grant sponsored by Care for Creation.
Troop 9006 Pancake Fundraiser
Our sincere gratitude goes to all who contributed to the Scouts' Pancake Breakfast. Your ongoing generosity empowers these young leaders to pursue impactful community projects and outdoor trips.
Scouting For Food
Throughout the April Scouting For Food drive, Troop 9006 successfully gathered 32 cases for our local food bank. Thanks to the exceptional diligence of our scouts and the immense generosity of our community, this collection marks a new record for the troop.

The Duffus School receives a $1,000 award to enhance their scholarship initiatives, ensuring that the magic of Irish dance remains accessible to all aspiring students in Pittsburgh.
The Traditional Irish Dance Academy
Recipient of a $1,000 award to foster the growth of heritage dance forms and support the academy’s mission of educating the next generation of Irish dancers in Western PA.
The Shovlin Academy
The Shovlin Academy was awarded $1,000 in recognition of the academy's commitment to building a strong community of young performers and fostering a deep love for Irish culture through movement.
Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance
Granted $1,000 for their remarkable efforts in preserving traditional step dance techniques and their active participation in city-wide cultural festivals.
